Awesome Group Show at Gallery 23 Runs Through End of December!

Come check out 6 excellent bohemian artists showing their work at Gallery 23. Maria Enchanted’s art reminds me of favorite childhood stories such as Alice in Wonderland, and comic book illustrations. Talullah Winterwolf features four very well balanced and textured photo-manipulations that stimulate the mind in open narrative form. Escarius Iuga shows a mix of inworld kinetic artwork, photo-manipulation, and photography. Kyra Roxan provides a moving feast of in-world kinetic wall sculptures. Talia Lefarve provides a mix of in-world kinetic art as well as photography. Allyson Firehawk’s tantalizing erotic work has a delightful fetish bent. Each artist brings something delicious to the senses. Come see and tell me what YOU think.

Gallery 23 seeks ARTISTS for our Art Shows!

Our very own Gallery 23 is seeking it's next round of fresh new talent for our art shows. If you love art, and have a body of at least 6 artworks inworld, then what are you waiting for? The purpose of this gallery is to provide a safe space for emerging talent and established artists to showcase their latest achievements. If you, or someone you know would like to take part, please contact enola Vaher, Manager of the Virtual Hotel Chelsea. She can be reached inworld via IM or Notecard.

What We Are Looking For:

6 – 10 two dimensional artworks, in any medium, SL or RL based, which represent your best work. These can be drawings, paintings, photographs, photo manipulations, digital drawings, SL photography, a mix of RL & SL art, or whatever else you can imagine and create.

Benefits of being a Gallery 23 Artist:

• This is a FREE opportunity to display your art in Second Life to a thriving art loving community.
  
• Your name will be published on this blog and announced in the Hotel Chelsea Group Chat on opening night.
• Your art has the potential to be seen by people, as yet unfamiliar with your work, over the course of 2 months!
• You have the option to set your artwork for sale, and the gallery does not take any fee or commission out of what you sell!
• Option to include an "About The Artist" plaque in your part of the exhibit, pointing visitors to your online portfolio in RL as well.
  
• Opportunities to meet and network with other artists.

Our wonderful Gallery 23 rotates exhibits of new art every other month, and we have an amazing showcase of raw talent on display now till August 31st. Support your fellow bohemians and enjoy relevant art! What you'll see are funky creations by Hollie Massenberg, Christalina Halostar, Terra Teardrop, Talullah Winterwolf, Angie Xenga, Gloria Delicioso, and Van Caerndow! Works are made in a variety of media, including some combined prose & photography. In addition, come see RL created paintings, SL based art, and more.
